On March 6th, 2024, DBAI Vennanthur organized a medical camp for migrant workers at Thangavel Textile Industry in Thathampatti, Salem. The camp consisted of a general check-up and consultation by a team of doctors from Shanmuga Hospital, as well as an eye check-up by a doctor team from Pro Max Vision. The facilities provided at the camp included HB testing, blood pressure testing, sugar level testing, height and weight check, individual consultation, prescribed medicines, and a medical sheet for each participant for further follow-up and check-ups. A total of 82 migrant mill workers, both men and women, benefitted from this medical camp.
