On 21.06.2026, the Don Bosco Anbu Illam Child Friendly Salem Team successfully organised a Community Health and Menstrual Health Awareness Programme for women from Gandhi Mahan, Kurinji Nagar Housing Board, Pachapatty, and JJ Nagar. Around 70 women actively participated in the programme. The session was facilitated by Dr. Rajeshkumar and the team from Vinayaka Missions Hospital, who shared valuable insights on women’s health, menstrual hygiene, nutrition, disease prevention, and the importance of adopting a healthy lifestyle. Interactive games and group activities made the session engaging and encouraged active participation. The programme concluded with a pledge-taking ceremony, where participants committed themselves to maintaining good health practices and promoting a healthier environment for their families and communities.
