On January 24th, in honour of World Girl Child Day, the Child-Friendly Salem team of *Don Bosco Anbu Illam* organized a Legal Aid Program for the children and people of Thalaimalai Nagar.

The session was facilitated by *Advocate Sethupathi* and *Advocate Bhoopathi*, who enlightened the community with vital knowledge:

Advocate Sethupathi highlighted the importance of protecting girl children and fostering their empowerment.

Advocate Bhoopathi raised awareness of the POCSO Act and other fundamental rights, ensuring everyone understood the legal frameworks safeguarding children.

The session concluded with an interactive Q&A, where participants shared their doubts and gained clarity. With the active participation of over 30 community members, this event was a significant step toward building awareness and promoting child rights.
