Medical Camps for Migrant Workers
Salem Don Bosco Anbu Illam, with the kind support of textile mill management, recently organized free general medical camps for migrant workers in Namakkal and Salem districts, Tamil Nadu.
These camps were designed to address the healthcare needs of workers, many of whom come from Bihar, West Bengal, and Odisha. Workers received free health check-ups, screenings for common illnesses, and essential medicines. Awareness sessions on hygiene, workplace safety, and preventive healthcare were also conducted to ensure a holistic approach to their well-being.
Thank you the mill management for facilitating and encouraging participation in this meaningful initiative! Together, we’ve been able to reach hundreds of workers and provide the care and support they deserve.
Salem Don Bosco Anbu Illam is committed to empowering communities and improving lives through impactful programs like this.
