On October 11, 2024, we proudly observed the International Day of the Girl Child with the theme “Girls’ Vision for the Future.” This powerful message reminds us of the urgent need for action and the dreams of girls across the globe, especially in the face of climate change, conflict, and poverty.

Together with the District Child Protection Unit of Salem, we organized an inspiring signature campaign at the Salem New Bus Stand, with over 250 participants in solidarity with girl children.

We were delighted to have key stakeholders from various departments, including the police, child welfare, and community members, come together in support of this cause. During the campaign, participants, including children and parents, took a heartfelt oath to respect, care for, and protect our girls.
