We’re excited to share that our wonderful children from Don Bosco Anbu Illam (DBAI) had an amazing time at the recently inaugurated Book Fair in Salem! Tourism Minister R. Rajendran kicked off this vibrant event dedicated to promoting reading habits among our communities, especially our students.

Our kids from DBAI Mulluvadigate and DBAI Adivaram, along with dropout students and our dedicated staff, immersed themselves in this enriching experience. They explored nearly 200 stalls filled with books on various topics — from education to history, science to stories! It was heartwarming to see their enthusiasm and curiosity grow!

Thanks to the district administration, our children received free book vouchers and were touched by the kindness of generous donors who gifted books just for them. With over 60 “Children Readers Circles” active in urban and rural areas, we are committed to nurturing a reading culture among our children.
