November 27th, we held an insightful **Core Team Meeting* with 20 passionate Child-Friendly Salem team members. The meeting was a dynamic exchange of ideas and innovative plans for upcoming initiatives to create a brighter future for our children.

*World Girl Child Day: Suggestions included a **walkathon/marathon* in January, involving college students, especially young girls, to empower and celebrate them.
*Vulnerable Areas: Strategies were discussed to uplift the most at-risk communities with support from **Rotary, incorporating **dramas* and *puppet shows* to raise awareness.
*Book Reading Culture: Plans to promote book reading through **book exhibitions*, donation booths, and creative activities were explored.
*Career Guidance & Job Melas*: Ideas to link children to scholarships and career opportunities were proposed to secure their bright futures.
*Parent-Teacher Training: Focused on effectively enhancing communication between parents and children to address **mental health concerns*.
