On 2nd August 2024, our dedicated staff, field coordinators, community volunteers, community support group members, and parents from our community resource centre children took part in the School Management Committee (SMC) meetings. 

These meetings were held at government schools in Veerapandi, Panamarathupatti, and Magudanchavadi blocks of Salem district, as well as Vennandhur and Mallasamuthiram blocks of Namakkal district. 

Thanks to our continuous efforts in raising awareness about the SMC, we had an incredible turnout of parents from our 40 working villages! 

By attending these meetings, parents played a crucial role in decision-making processes that directly impacted their children’s education. Together, we are nurturing a stronger and more inclusive education system in our communities.
