November 16, 2024, we celebrated an unforgettable Children’s Day at Don Bosco Anbu Illam, Salem! Our Continuing Education Centre (Dropout Centre) students participated enthusiastically in various exciting sports competitions, including the Water Bottle Filling Challenge, Lemon Spoon Relay, Surprise Name Relay, and much more!

The event was graced by Rev. Dr. Casimir Raj M, our esteemed Director, who inspired everyone with his heartfelt speech about the importance of education and his love for our community. We were also delighted to have Shri Venkatesh, a police officer, and Shri Periyasamy, who brought joy and entertainment during the festivities!

Our cultural segment shone brightly with captivating Bharatanatyam performances by talented students Shruthi and Ilayarasi and group singing that celebrated our unity and creativity. A special highlight was recognising outstanding students who showcased their knowledge by reciting Thirukkural verses on the spot!

As we wrapped up with prize distribution for competition winners, the cheers of our young champions inspired us all to aim higher!
