Capacitation Training for Anganwadi Workers
As part of the Child Friendly Salem initiative, a capacitation training was successfully conducted for 100 Anganwadi workers at Don Bosco Anbu Illam, Mulluvadi Gate on October 9th. The session kicked off with a warm welcome, followed by a fruitful discussion among the Anganwadi workers on how to improve their work and impact in the community.
Mr. Rouseau from the Don Bosco Anbu Illam Dropout School shared inspiring success stories and the impactful activities carried out by the school. Ms. Lincy Florencia, Project Coordinator of CFS, spoke about the various activities of Child Friendly Salem and explored ways the CFS team and Anganwadi workers could collaborate to enhance their effectiveness. Mr. Xavier, Superintendent of Don Bosco Anbu Illam, emphasized the significance of global child protection committees and School Management Committees (SMC), discussing how these platforms can be leveraged for the betterment of children.
The session ended on a high note with a heartfelt vote of thanks to everyone involved in making the event a success. Together, we continue to work for the welfare and future of our children!
