On January 11, 2025, our dedicated Child-Friendly Society initiative team at Don Bosco Anbu Illam took significant steps toward community betterment during our Child-Friendly Salem interface meeting at Periyar Street, Ward 20, Suramangalam Zone. We were honoured to have impactful leaders join us, including:

Together, we tackled crucial community issues such as the water pipe problem, electrical wires, and transformer concerns. Thanks to the prompt actions from our councillor and area leaders, we have already documented the transformer issue for quick resolution by tomorrow morning. In contrast, the water pipe issues will be taken care of within a week.

With the success of this meeting, we reaffirm our commitment to ensuring all children have access to education and that their well-being is prioritized. Let’s continue to work together for a community where children thrive!
