On *10th December, in observance of **World Human Rights Day, the *Child Friendly Salem team successfully organised a Rally cum Signature Campaign at *Nanjampatty, themed *“Children’s Rights are Human Rights.”**

The programme was honoured by the presence of Ms. Sujatha, BRT – Education Department, who graced the occasion and delivered an inspiring address highlighting the importance of safeguarding children’s rights.

The initiative focused on creating awareness that education is a basic human right and emphasized that *every child must continue their education without interruption. As part of the awareness drive, *hand bands promoting child rights were distributed to all participants.

Through the rally and active public participation in the signature campaign, the programme highlighted the collective responsibility of society in protecting children’s right to education and preventing school dropouts.
