On *15th June 2025, the *Don Bosco Anbu Illam team organized a one-day awareness program for women from *Ward 41 (Pachapatty), Ward 42 (Gandhi Mahan Street), and *Kurinji Nagar Housing Board in the Ammapet Zone.

Over 50 women actively participated in the session aimed at informing and empowering the community.

🗣️Mrs. Shyamala shared insights on the Labour Welfare Scheme (Labour Nalavariyam Thittam) and its various benefits for women workers.

🤝 Mr. Xavier emphasized the importance of unity among women and explained how to file grievances effectively when facing community or personal issues.

⚖️ Mr. Sethupathi elaborated on women-related laws and the significance of the Monday Grievance Day Petition (Monday Petition) system.

This program served as a step toward building a more informed, aware, and united community of women.
