The Don Bosco Anbu Illam Team celebrated World Environment Day with vibrant participation from over 70 children across Gandhi Mahan, Kurinji Nagar Housing Board (Ward 42), and JJ Nagar (Ward 20).

The day’s theme – “Clean and Green” – came alive through an engaging session on “Reuse, Reduce, and Recycle”, followed by a spirited clean-up drive in each area.

Children took a pledge to protect the environment, committing themselves to care for nature and act as young ambassadors of sustainability.

As a green symbol of hope and responsibility, guava trees were planted by the children, inspiring a deep sense of connection with the earth and a duty to nurture it for a better future.
