In alignment with the Government Order to conduct Zonal Level Child Protection Committee Meetings once every three months, we actively participated as NGO representatives in the meetings across the four zones of Salem: *Hasthampatty, Ammapet, Suramangalam, and Kondalampatti*.

This platform allowed us to:

Share the impactful work we do in these areas.

Address key issues affecting children, such as *school dropouts, **substance abuse prevention, and **child rehabilitation*.

Present our research from *Kurinji Nagar Housing Board in Ammapet Zone* as empirical evidence.

During the discussions, innovative ideas emerged, focusing on:

Conducting awareness programs for children at the school level.

Engaging parents to encourage better care and responsibility for their children.

Preparing additional data for future meetings to enable purposeful, actionable strategies.
