On January 13, 2025, Don Bosco Anbu Illam joyfully celebrated Pongal, a vibrant harvest festival with special significance in Tamil culture. Our dedicated Salesians and staff came together with our amazing dropout students to share on this beautiful occasion!

Throughout the day, the students learned about Pongal’s rich traditions and values, embracing the spirit of gratitude and community. The joy was palpable as everyone came together to express thanks to God and celebrate life.

We also shared delicious Pongal, strengthening our bonds and creating cherished memories. It was a heartwarming experience reminding us of the importance of culture, unity, and thanks.
