Empowering Rural Women Through Free Sewing Skill Training!
We’re thrilled to share that DON BOSCO ANBU ILLAM, Salem in collaboration with Desai Foundation Trust and SPS India Foundation, has launched a FREE 3-month (October to December 2024) Sewing Skill Training Program for rural women in Vadugampalaiyam village, Vennandur.
Program Highlights:
Objective: Enhance livelihoods and foster independence among rural women.
Skills Covered: Basic sewing techniques and entrepreneurship skills.
Duration: Completely free of charge for 3 months!
This initiative empowers rural women with the skills to start businesses or form cooperative units. We aim to boost their economic independence and sustainability within our community by focusing on sewing and entrepreneurship.
