This August 2024, we are thrilled to be part of the SMC (School Management Committee) reconstruction meetings here in Tamil Nadu!

At Don Bosco Anbu Illam, Salem, we believe in empowering our communities through education, and we’re actively spreading awareness about the importance of building strong School Management Committees.

Thanks to our dedicated outreach in the Salem and Namakkal districts, we’re proud to announce that 214 amazing community support group members and parents from our resource centres have been selected as SMC members in their village primary schools! This incredible achievement spans 9 blocks and exemplifies our commitment to enhancing educational governance at the grassroots level.
