The world cancer day was rememberd in Don Bosco Anbu illam. An awareness program was given by Mrs. Nithya, Makkal Ithedi Maruthuvam staff, about cancer. In this awareness program she explained the reasons for commemorating this world cancer day and she gave the statistics of people who are affected by cancer. She explained about the types of cancer and what are the effects of cancer and how one can prevent himself from cancer. Above all she she explained about the food culture in order to prevent cancer.
