Zonal level Sports and Art program for boys and girls running under Social Defence Department – (2022-2023) was held on 27-12-2022 and 28-12-2022 at Government Orphanage for Boys, Iranipet. 620 students from 11 Government Homes and 17 Government Aided Homes participated in this Event. All those who participated in this function were addressed by the Child Protection Officer of Iranipet District. Mrs. Kannanradhai welcomed them. District Government President Mr. Bhaskarapandian. IAS. They were presided over by Minister of Handloom and Textiles as the Chief Guest. Honorable R. Gandhi in attendance hoisted the national flag and lit the Olympic flame to inaugurate the Games.
